Parkinson’s is misunderstood in Nigeria

Many people living with Parkinson’s Disease in Nigeria face stigma, isolation, and limited access to proper care — often because society doesn’t yet fully understand this condition.

  • ✗ Social stigma prevents people from seeking help
  • ✗ Low public awareness of symptoms & treatment
  • ✗ Inadequate community support structures
Our Answer

Together, we raise awareness & build community

The annual #Move4PD Walk unites communities, promotes movement and healthy living, and amplifies the voices of people living with Parkinson’s Disease across Nigeria.
